Warm, dry huts separated by ski and snowshoe
adventures. What could be better?

Starting Dates: November 1-January 5th

Fat bike up a summer jeep road which closes for the winter with awesome views of the Sneffels Range. Spend the next night exploring the local trails on snow shoes (provided at the hut) or on bikes if there is low snow. Spend another cozy night at the Blue Lakes hut before heading out to meet your shuttle on your last day. Fat bike rentals and shuttles are provided. If you have not spent much time on a fat bike in the snow, this is the trip we recommend you start with. Sleeping bags are provided, please bring your own sleeping bag liner. Fat bike rentals and shuttles to and from the trailhead are included in this package. If you can run your own shuttle and/or have your own bikes lower rates are available. This is a great option for bikers looking to get out in the mountains!

Check out this video. We were a group of experienced bikers but this was the first time on a fat bike in snow for most of us. As a side note, sledding into trees is not encouraged in hind sight.
