Spring Creek Hut is well suited for those looking to put in some long distances or for a group of diverse riding abilities. Ride about 15 miles(this mileage can change depending on road/snow conditions) across Horsefly Mesa with the entire Sneffels Range in the background. Arrive at Spring Creek Hut where you will find sleeping bags, wood stove, propane cook stove, and dry foods. Click here for a full list of food items found at Spring Creek Hut. You may want to bring in some perishable items like butter, cheese, meat, and veggies. Spend the next day exploring the trails and roads around spring creek hut. The Divide Road is groomed regularly and you can ride over 60 miles on it if you like. Return to the Spring Creek Hut and bike out the following day to meet your shuttle.

Accommodations

Our mountain huts hold eight people per night. The wooden huts are equipped with padded bunks, sleeping bags, a propane cook stove, propane light, wood stove, and necessary utensils, cookware, breakfast and dinner dry food and drinking water. Each hut is equipped with a composting toilet facility.
